Ready Pac® Introduces Over 20 On-Trend New Items to Meet
Consumer Demand for Fresh Convenience

Irwindale, Calif., (October, 2007) - Ready Pac has launched over 20 new items to directly address growing consumer demand for convenience produce items that offer variety and imaginative ingredients, and the need for healthful organic meal solutions.

Premium Fresh-Cut Fruit in Personal and Party Sizes
(Suggested retail of $2.99 to $5.99 for personal sizes and $15.99 for party sizes)
Ready Pac ready-to-eat premium fruit is available in both personal and party-sized crystal-clear containers. Sweet varieties include: Grape, Blueberry, Cantaloupe; Strawberry, Kiwi, Mango; Super Fruit Medley (Cantaloupe, Pineapple, Grape, Strawberry, Kiwi, Red/Green Apples, Blueberry, Blackberry); Berry Blend (Strawberry, Blueberry, Blackberry); Super Summer Splash (Strawberry, Cantaloupe, Honeydew, Kiwi, Grapes, Blueberry, Blackberry); Tropical Fruit with Lemon Dip; Apples with Cinnamon Crème and a Fruit-Cheese-Vegetables combination tray.

Fresh Snacks

Ready Pac’s Just Snackin’™ line of fresh vegetable and fruit snacks gives consumers healthy convenience on the go. Crystal clear packaging showcases the multiple fresh components in every item. New snacks include: Apples, Granola & Yogurt; Vegetables & Cheese Snack and Veggie, Cheese & Ranch Dip Snack.

Premium Salad Blends

This line of new salads addresses consumers’ preference for adding their own dressing to make their favorite premium salads. New SKU’s feature premium lettuces with gourmet dried fruit and nut toppings including: Spring Mix with Pecan pieces and Golden Raisins; Parisian with Frosted Almonds and Dried Cranberries; Baby Spinach with Almonds and Red Tart Cherries and Santa Barbara with Frosted Pecans and Golden Raisins.

Complete Meal Salads

Ready Pac was the first to market in 2003 with ready-to-eat salad bowls. Since their introduction, Ready Pac® Bistro™ salads have become a big hit among time-pressed, health-conscious consumers and they are the number one selling brand of single-serve entrée salads at retail.2 This fall, the company launches a proven regional seller nationally -- Ready Pac® Bistro™ Chicken Cranberry Walnut Salad. Currently available in the Northeast, this salad will be available in all four Ready Pac USDA certified facilities in mid-October.
