Irwindale, Calif., October, 2007 - Consumer demand for Organics has never been stronger, with total organic food sales topping $13.8 billion in 2005. Fresh-cut organic salad sales reached $241 Million in the latest 52 weeks and are leading fresh-cut salad category growth up 10.4%.2
Although distribution of organic foods by Grocery, Mass Merchandisers and Club stores has increased, these channels still only represent 47% of total organic food sales1.
