Chief Financial Officer
Dan Redfern is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Bonduelle Fresh Americas, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bonduelle and home of the Ready Pac Foods brand. The business unit focuses on fresh vegetables, salads and fresh meal solutions for the Americas.
Dan joined Bonduelle Fresh Americas in 2015 and is responsible for all aspects of financial and strategic planning, financial reporting, accounting, transaction support services and P&L performance management. He is also responsible for the IT and Legal departments.
Dan has been a CFO for more than 18 years, primarily in the food and beverage industries. Prior to joining Bonduelle Fresh Americas, Dan was the CFO for Popchips, Inc., where helped drive a significant improvement in operating margins. Prior to that, he served for six years as the CFO, and then as business unit general manager for the San Diego Division of Tyson Foods.
Dan started his career in public accounting in 1980 working for Arthur Andersen and Price Waterhouse, and joined PepsiCo in 1989, where he spent 14 years working in both the Frito-Lay and Pepsi divisions. In 1998, Dan became the CFO and vice president of strategy for Pepsi Bottling Group Canada, where he helped lead a significant turnaround in profitability for the $1.4 billion division of PepsiCo.
Dan has his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas Tech University – Rawls College of Business, and his master’s of business administration from Pepperdine University, The George L. Graziadio School of Business and Management.
Dan currently lives in Poway, Calif., with his wife, Jo Anne, and Lia, his daughter. In his time off, Dan enjoys swimming, triathlons and traveling.
