No Fuss Paella


  • 1 (7-oz) pkg Ready Pac Foods® Tri Peppers or Ready Pac Foods® Pico de Gallo
  • 1/2 cup Ready Pac Foods® No Tears® Onions
  • 2 Tbs butter or oil
  • 2-1/2 cups water
  • 1 tsp prepared fresh minced garlic
  • 1 (8-oz.)box yellow rice mix
  • 1/3 cup each: frozen peas and cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup each: sliced pimento stuffed olives and
  • Fresh chopped parsley (optional)
  • 1 lb medium size whole clams in shell (about 12), washed
  • 1/2 lb shelled and deveined raw shrimp, washed


In large saucepan, combine water, butter and garlic; cover and bring to boil. Stir in contents of rice mix; cover and bring to boil again. Reduce heat and simmer for 12 minutes before stirring in Ready Pac Foods® Tri Peppers, Ready Pac Foods® No Tears® Diced Onions, peas, tomatoes, olives and parsley; blend well. Cover; simmer, 5 minutes longer before adding clams and shrimp. Steam 7 to 10 minutes longer or until clam shells have opened, shrimp is pink and rice is tender. Discard any clams that do not open.
